Wishing you a very Happy Christmas from Hammond & Smith!

We blinked and it’s December! Where has this year gone? It certainly has been a very busy few months with lots of highlights to treasure.

From Alison’s feature on Channel 4’s Complaints Welcome, our official shop launch and coffee morning for Macmillan, to our Xmas Pop Up Shop, this first year of Hammond and Smith has been a blast!

We’ve loved continuing to write the next chapter of our business seeing it blossom and grow, meeting some wonderful new clients and families along the way.

If you know someone who is looking to buy, rent or sell, and is looking for something a bit different, with a first-class service, we’d love to help.

Helping someone with their property journey is what we do best!

A huge thank you to all our supporters, clients, and new friends, and we wish you all a Happy Christmas and a very special new year.

From the Hammond and Smith family!

Official Shop Launch

Friday 29 October saw us finally celebrate the official launch of our shop at 263 High Street Epping. We were delighted to share this special moment with some local businesses and new neighbours who have supported us on our journey. A great time was had by all, with some superb sushi by Yakimono rabata, Epping’s delicious Japanese restaurant.

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning

On 20 September we hosted our first Macmillan coffee morning and was blown away by the support. Along with receiving a delicious selection of homemade cakes, we met some amazing people throughout the day and raised over £380 for Macmillan Cancer. A huge thank you to everyone who came, made a cake, entered our raffle, and of course donated! We look forward to supporting Macmillan again next year.

National Tree Week

Did you know that for every completed house sale at Hammond and Smith we plant a tree?

By November this year we have supported The Tree Council with the planting of 20 new trees. We pledge to continue this commitment as we know how important it is to do our bit and give back to support the local environment.

To celebrate National Tree Week from 27 Nov – 5 Dec, we hosted a pop-up exhibition in our shop with stunning photos of the local area and forest by local resident and photographic enthusiast @dan_in_the_forest.

Xmas Pop-Up Shop!

To mark the run up to Christmas we were delighted to host our very first pop up shop with the fabulous Alice’s Wonders and Sandy Bay London.

Offering the most beautiful accessories including bags, scarfs and jewellery, Alice’s Wonders is based in the heart of Epping. If you missed our xmas shop event you can find them online at www.aliceswonders.co.uk  The well-known fragrances of Sandy Bay London are exquisite and if you haven’t had the pleasure, you can also find them online at www.sandybaylondon.com

Happy xmas shopping! Raising money for The Dream Factory, we really enjoyed raising a glass with our loyal clients and new friends of Hammond & Smith. The event was a fantastic success supporting this truly wonderful charity who grant dreams to children and young adults with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and/or severe disabilities. A huge thank you and Merry Christmas to all who came and supported this great cause!
