Help Re-build a Home with Safer Places

This Christmas we are proud to work with Essex and Herts based charity Safer Places supporting local women, men and their children to re-build a safe home after domestic abuse.

Over 4,900 domestic abuse phone calls to the police, within a single year, have been made within our areas of Epping Forest and Harlow. This equates to around 94 calls a week. (Data from the police service and Safer Places).

Knowing how important a safe home is, Hammond & Smith are proud to support this project, helping local women, men and their children re-build a safe home after domestic abuse.

How you can help?

Donate:

All contributions, big or small, are greatly received to help vulnerable families re-build a safe home. Examples of how your donations may be used include:

£5 could buy a weeks supply of baby food

£10 could help towards new bedding

£50 could help towards a new mattress

Drop Off:

Hammond & Smith at 263 High Street, Epping, CM16, are a designated drop-off point for donations of new kitchen items including pots, pans, cutlery, kettles, toasters and more. All these items will greatly help local families on their journey to recovery.

Any support you can give will make such a difference, helping to build a safer place for survivors.
